Welcome to the November 2023 Issue of ORB

Leaves have fallen in Canada, the colours are gone. So, it is an excellent time to compensate with the colourful imagination of Canadian writers. In this issue of the Ottawa Review of Books, we offer you six works of fiction: five by Canadians and one rendered from Italian by a Canadian translator. Heading our line-up is Irene Karafilly's Arrested Song, followed by Connie Guzzo-McParland's translation of Teresa Antonacci's The Twelfth Room, Lori Hahnel's Flicker, the State of the Ark: Canadian Future Fiction anthology edited by Lesley Choyce, Stephanie Kain's Lifeline: an Elegy, and Chris Lewis' Trouble Wore Reds. We hope you enjoy this issue and keep warm!
