JUNE 2015 - SPECIAL PROSE IN THE PARK ISSUE OF THE OTTAWA REVIEW OF BOOKS

June 3, 2015

If you live in Ottawa, you may have come across the special print issue that the Ottawa Review of Books just did for the Prose in the Park Literary Festival and Book Fair. In this issue, we are republishing five of the articles and reviews from the special print issue -- all are about authors attending Prose in the Park on June 6 in the Parkdale Park. And for the very first time, we have published an article in French. We might do a more in French in the coming year - after all, Ottawa is a bilingual city. You can also enjoy in this issue a new review by Jim Napier on William Deverell's Sing a Worried Song. If you like crime fiction, this novel should definitely be on your summer reading list.

Since launching the Ottawa Review of Books in September 2014, we have published every month five to nine book reviews, articles and interviews. That is pretty decent for our small core team of dedicated reviewers so they deserve a well earned break. We won't publish in July and August to give them that break, and we will be back in September.

All the Best,

The ORB Team.

P.S. If you are in Ottawa on June 6, please join at Prose in the Park. It is going to be not only the newest but the coolest literary festival in Canada. Check it out! Details below.
